"Kirby,""Golden Sun" and "DOS"

Played the first two levels of Kirby's Epic Yarn. It's adorable and addictive. Golden Sun is going well. I defeated the boss and obtained the Lift Orb. I was also able to start Dawn of Sorrow and get to a save room before the DS ran out of juice.

Post-Xmas Purchases

Picked up Castlevania:Dawn of Sorrow for the DS and Kirby's Epic Yarn for the Wii today.

Found all the pottery maker's equipment and returned it to him. Also took down another boss and saved a mermaid. Kuni was captured by the catfish,though and Nanami and I have to rescue him.

I healed a crane in Okamiden and found my way to Agata Forest today. Also forged my Divine Shield.

Retrieved all the pyrotechnic gear in Okamiden before the DS ran out of juice. Also saved the loftwing in SS. I had some trouble w/bird racing in the beginning but after I got the hang of it,I was able to get the statue.. In the aftermath of Zelda's disappearance,I got an adventure pouch and a wooden shield.

"Golden Sun" Progress

I'm exploring Altin Mines and managed to destroy another living statue and open a few chests.

Continuing "Okamiden"

Delivered herbs to the pyrotechnic. Now I have to destroy demons and recover his equipment. So far I've retrieved three out of four.

"SS" and "GS"

Managed to get a sword and practice some moves. Turns out using Wii Motion Plus is easier than I thought it would be. Also obtained a jelly blob and monster claw on my way to rescue Link's bird.

Just defeated the Living statue and received a Frost Gem as a reward.

"Okamiden" and "Skyward Sword" Last Night

Found the mirror and brought it back to Sakuya upon destroying my first boss in the game. Now I'm on my way to deliver herbs to the pyrotechnic.

Link's loftwing has been lifted and I've got to find it. Saved the headmaster's pet and ran into Zelda also.

So Much to Do,So Little Time

I had spent the morning looking for Wii Motion Plus for my Zelda game. When I finally did get one,I got about 30 min. of SS in. I also picked up the first two stars in SMG2. I haven't gotten to my DS yet today.

Xmas Dreams Come True

I got Okamiden and Golden Sun:Dark Dawn for the DS and Zelda:Skyward Sword and Super Mario Galaxy 2 for Wii!

I made it to the Hana Valley in Okamiden. So far I got the Power Slash,Green spout,Sunrise,and Guidance brush techniques. Also played Golden Sun and picked up a couple more Jinn as well as offering to help a girl find her missing bro.

Three Days of Hell in "SMG"

Finally managed to get a star in one of the Trial Galaxies after three days.

Just got the Orb of Force Today.

Just made it to the Fuchin Temple and obtained the Dragon's Eye. After placing it in the statue,a shadow bridge appeared. Now it's time to get the Orb of Force.

The main galaxies of SMG have been completed (as much as allowed for the first playthru). Now all that remains are the Trial Galaxies.

The Mercury Lighthouse is finished and Tret has been healed.

Made it to the Mercury Lighthouse and Mia has joined the party. So far,I'm on my second pipe puzzle.

It may have taken nine lives (and a pause of at least 10-15 minutes I'm guessing),but the irritating roll the ball level of Melty Molten Galaxy is finished!!!! I also defeated the Fiery Dino Piranha.

Kolima Forest

I managed to save Tret (the tree) from his evil self tonight as well as adding to my collection of Djinn and leveling up.

Continuing "Golden Sun"

Made it to the Kolima Forest tonight and picked up two more Jinn.

Found and defeated some thieves in Golden Sun. Now it's onto the Goma Cave.

Managed to get the Elemental Stones before the volcano started rumbling. Jenna and Kraden were kidnapped. Afterward,I set out for the village of Vault and met up w/Ivan (my newest party member) who can read minds. I'm still trying to get the hang of it.

I'm Really Pissed w/"SMG" Right Now

Dammit! I almost got to the machine that frees the Power Star from the ball until my arm got tired and threw my fucking ball and game off balance. What's worse? No matter how far you are,they make you go back to the beginning of the fucking level! I fucking hate it!

Managed to make it into the Sol Sanctum in Golden Sun. Upon disabling a trap,I found the secret room w/the Elemental Stars before the DS got low on juice.  Yes,I play GBA stuff on my DS Lite.

Big Spoiler Alert

Golden Sun came in the mail today. I'm a few minutes into the first level and Felix has been carried away by a raging flood. Now there are two Adepts to be dealt with.

Two New Stars From Melty Molten Galaxy...

bringing the total up to 97. I'm having trouble balancing on a ball and it's not easy keeping the Wii-mote still. Nerves get the better of me,it seems.

Took a handful of tries on Top Maniac Speed Run and cleaning up the junk for each Power Star,but I finally conquered it last night. Almost done w/the game. To tell the truth,it's the green star galaxies that have me worried.

They should consider putting Phoenix Wright and Amaterasu in the next Super Smash Bros. since I have no PS3 and cannot experience Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3.

Confronted Vaati in Minish Cap for the first time yesterday. Unfortunately,if you fail,you have to start over from the bell chimes and destroy the guard w/the ball and chain as well as dealing w/three darknuts simultaneously. If the bell chimes three times you lose. It's fucking irritating!!!!!!!

As if that didn't suck enough,I'm awfully rusty at Super Mario 64 DS and can't land any stars.

From Yesterday Afternoon

Found and used a key in the Palace of the Winds in Minish Cap. Having serious trouble making a jump right now.

Got the downward thrust in Minish Cap last night and played some mini-games today. Also captured more enemy souls in AoS.

Came across and defeated so many bosses in Kirby this afternoon. Also found a few switches.

Finished the Royal Crypt this morning and have now moved onto the Palace of the Winds in the sky. Plenty of Kinstones were fused with at least 14 (at last count) to go.

Made it to the graveyard and started exploring the Royal Crypt. Also fused more Kinstones and obtained the magical boomerang.

I finished the Temple of Droplets last night and the water element is now mine.

Added more Kinstones to the growing collection and even fused some. I fought a Darknut for a golden one. Also obtained the Pegasus Boots. All of this took place yesterday

Minish Cap and AoS took up most of my evening last night. I fused Kinstones and unlocked treasure and alternate routes. I also picked up the rolling thrust tonight in the former.

Bested the second boss this afternoon and retrieved the fire element. I returned to Hyrule Town and experimented w/shrinking. The result was 100 rupees and a piece of heart (completing another heart container).

Finished my first dungeon in Minish Cap and retrieved the earth element. Also received bomb and kinstone bags. I'm about to get my first bottle from a Deku Scrub.

As for Metroid Fusion,I picked up more missile expansions for a total of 60.

New Games for the GBA

Today saw the arrival of Zelda:Minish Cap and Fire Emblem:Sacred Stones.

I made it to the first dungeon,defeated the mini boss and obtained the gust jar in Minish Cap so far.

Current "Fire Emblem" Nightmare is Over!

Dammit! It took more than a dozen restarts,but I finally defeated that troublesome boss and added a new member to the party. Everyone's alive and it was no easy feat! I need a break after the past few days!

Defeated Squiddy in Starfy just now. Fire Emblem's new boss is a different story. He whacks my troubadour w/ease after she's healed my best fighter.

I managed to survive the battle upon the pirate ship w/o losing anybody (though that took a handful of restarts).

Made it to the final boss of the Lava Kingdom,but I think I need to level up some more.

Defeated possessed Odin today. Now I've moved onto the Lava Kingdom to search for Oswald. I've started recipes in the new cafe. I've made a few omelets,napple sorbet,shrimp salad,and something fruity. The dishes have boosted my experience and added to my health.

"Odin Sphere" Plot Twist

It seems Gwendolyn is destined to marry Oswald. Her engagement ring is from Wagner's stomach. When she goes go deliver it to her papa,she finds out her ordered her annihilated. Needless to say,she has to go through an entire army of berserkers and Valkyries to get to Odin. When she does,it turns out,Bragin was disguised as Odin the whole time!

Can't wait to see what happens next!

I destroyed a specter in Odin Sphere and moved onto General Bragin after freeing Velvet from his clutches.

So far,I've obtained 20 missiles and two energy tanks. I also defeated my first boss (although it took a few tries to figure out his M.O.). It's pretty fun!

Got the PS2 out Last Night

I just played Persona 3 today. My character's Persona,Orpheus made its grand entrance and I fought shadows upon receiving a small sword from Yukari.

Solved the puzzle in Sonic yesterday afternoon and boarded the enemy plane. Meanwhile,I picked up the necessary part in Eggman/Robotnic's lab w/Tails and co.

This morning,I got the trophy in the first Boss Battle against DK in Mario vs. DK 3.

I'm at 2-5 of MvsDK3. I've earned trophies for most of the levels I've cleared.

I took me quite a few tries,but I finally figured out the door code. Now I get to explore Metropolis. Sonic & co. split into teams so far. Apparently,it's going to be a long level.

Finished the first world last night and picked up every collectible there was so far. Beating DK took a bit of time,but I stuck w/it and eventually triumphed.

Finally snuck past Lumiere for the Combo Tech and Valor Gear. Also played day 95's mission. Obtained Cassahan's ending last night.

I destroyed a neoshadow tonight in KHDS. I cannot get past Lumiere for a Combo Tech and Valor Gear and it's pissing me off royally.

Day 74 of "KHDS"

Explored the Cave of Wonders w/Xion last night. After activating the block puzzle,I had to fight Pete. When Xion and Roxas escaped,they ran into Genie and Carpet. Also managed to pick up the treasure chests I missed in various holo-missions.

Frank West's ending is now unlocked and Zero is now available.

Obtained the ending for Karas tonight and unlocked Joe the Condor.

Survival Mode

I managed to make it through 29 rounds of Survival Mode in Tatsunoko vs. Capcom when I got home from work.

Obtained the ending for Jun the Swan in Tatsunoko vs. Capcom this afternoon.

Just finished my first mission at Beast's Castle in KHDS. Also did a bit of Animal Crossing.

However,there are other endings just waiting to be unlocked w/the New Game +.

Queen Zeal has been defeated a second time in Chrono Trigger. Now I have to best her for the last time in antiquity.

Gaming Overload Today

I managed to make it to Francis and defeat him in Super Paper Mario. Persona 3 is getting off to a slow start so far. Hopefully,it won't drag too long. Odin Sphere is like crack. I managed to best Velvet w/Gwendolyn and moved onto the first few levels of the frozen mountain.

Latest Purchase

Today I got Persona 3 for the PS2. The Disgaea copy did NOT work. In short,it was a repeat of the last time.

Nine Days of Rennovation Did not Allow Progress to be Recorded Until Now

Last week,I managed to get some new glyphs and destroy a boss in Castlevania:OOE. I got the Cubus glyph thanks to Ignis and it's no longer the bane of my existence,game wise. New treasures were also obtained in KHDS.

Today,I purchased Disgaea:Hour of Darkness for my PS2. Hopefully,this copy will work and it won't be a repeat of the last time. Busted up copies of anything suck big time.

Finished my first mission in Agrabah wrapped up a side quest to get a Shining Shard.

Two bosses were downed in Odin Sphere yesterday and I made a Painkiller in Alchemy.

Today's Report on "Odin Sphere"

I slew a dragon,my first boss,after leveling up a bit. Afterwards,I got to learn a couple basic rules of alchemy. I made some antidotes and a napalm so far. Mandrogoras are easier to catch than I originally believed. Then again,some varieties might be easier to get than others.

I Gritted My Teeth and Played "Ico"

I had to flip some switches and climb down and up chains and a ladder in order to get to necessary levels and rooms. It's probably the longest time I left Yorda unsupervised in this game. Thankfully,the Shadow Creatures (non-flying ones at that) materialized on a lower level of the castle w/the princess completely out of their reach.

The main problem I ran into was getting Yorda on the moving platform before throwing the switch. It took a few turns to figure it out,but my obstinacy paid off apparently.

Anyway,I saved at the East Arena.

"Odin Sphere" Rules

Played Odin Sphere for about two hrs. today. It's so awesome. I've started off as Gwendolyn the Valkyrie. I still have a quite a bit to learn though. Anyway,I think I'll do some leveling up when I play again.

I beat the boss of the Thieves' Town called Blind in Link to the Past.

I also got my new PS2 game called Odin Sphere.

I played it for past two days and managed to get the boss in the Dark World's third dungeon a half-hour ago.

I picked up two Energy Tanks and three missile expansions today. The First Energy Tank was hard to get: turns out I had too much trouble bomb jumping so I had to knock myself into a Geemer to get it. Took quite a while,but I got it. IDK if I'll make it a "Metroid" weekend; I guess I'll see.

Revolver Ocelot has been defeated at the moment. The victory was followed by a long cut scene which I will not elaborate on for fear of dropping spoilers. All that I can say is I need to find Meryl and Otacon now.

Made it to Revolver Ocelot,the first boss. Originally thought my supply of C4 explosives were exhausted,but thankfully,they had back up ones in the north part of the Armory. I guess they'll have more when you run out or make a mistake.

Wow! I'm almost to the Omega Pirate! After that is the last half of the game. Along the way,I picked up four missile expansions.

Metroid Prime Continues After a Long Hiatus

I dealt w/two Elite Pirates this afternoon,the first of which relinquished the Artifact of Warrior. Beam Pirates are a pain and I'm not exactly adept at dodging yet. I was down to two energy tanks before making it to a save station.

I'm just side questing so far. I've already picked up three Triforce charts. Filling the Nintendo Gallery is my temporary focus at the moment.

I thought I had all the Skulltulas from Kakariko Village,but I obviously overlooked one that had been on a house roof. So glad I went back for it. Now I have 92 so far.

I'm trying to retrace my steps to make extra sure I have all the previous ones before finishing the Spirit Temple. Maybe I'll seek the final three pieces of heart.

I picked up the final Skulltula in Dodongo's Cavern this morning. I've got my work cut out for me since a lot of the dungeons I've gone through haven't been completely purged.

Several Skulltullas and three heart pieces remain before finishing the game. I just need the video walkthrough of OOT to make sure I get everything.

I finally got that Heart Piece w/the frog mini-game in Ocarina of Time. Only three more to go now and those can be only obtained in adulthood.

Adventure w/Marth Has Officially Begun

Finished the prologue in Fire Emblem this afternoon. As for SMG,I got three more stars in the Deep Deep Galaxy,one of which was a Daredevil Run w/Kamella. Predictably,it took quite a few lives to beat it.

Some Love for the DS

I played Fire Emblem and,so far,made it to Prologue IV. Someone has to play decoy to save Marth.

As for KH 358/2,I replayed Day 15 and whupped the boss in the Collecting Hearts mission and got a Hi-Potion for my efforts.

Picked up a new copy of Fire Emblem for the DS today.

I managed to earn my Flying Suit at the Gate in SMG. Also completed the Sand Spiral and Boo Box Galaxies as well as getting my first star from the Deep Dark Galaxy.

I just got off Day 24 of KH 358/2.

The Engine Room Galaxies are finished in SMG. The Sand Spiral Galaxy is all that's left to tackle where the hungry Luma was.

Only one more star to go before finishing the Toy Time Galaxy. I still suck when it comes to the Trial Galaxies.

Cosmic Mario Race FINALLY Beaten

I beat my doppleganger by a nose in the Gold Leaf Galaxy for the Power Star. Also picked up my first in the Sea Slide Galaxy. I now have 70.

Shortly before that I took care of a misson in KH 358/2

Picked up a piece of heart and completed another heart container in OoT.

Well,I finally obtained the secret star (collecting musical notes) in the Gold Leaf Galaxy!

Earlier I played a couple more missions in KH 358/2.

Finally Got the Last Big Poe

I thought I'd never make it! Now I have the last bottle. Also learned the Requiem of Spirit to enter the Desert Colossus as a kid.

I picked up two pieces of heart later after watching a video walkthrough.

Bad news: I'm still having trouble getting that last big poe. Good news: I saved the last carpenter in the Gerudo Fortress. Now I have access to the training grounds and,I assure you,it's no cake walk. Right now I need a break.

I Made it!

I just got to Fort Francis this morning shortly after wrapping up errands in Animal Crossing.

In the evening,I picked up LOZ:Ocarina of Time for the first time in a dog's age. I managed to capture a big poe. I only need one more to get the last bottle in the game. Can't wait to take on Twinrova at the Spirit Temple in the Gerudo Desert.

I beat the giant Blooper w/Bowser last night. Now I have to climb the giant tree to get to Fort Francis.

My "Zelda" Weekend

Got out LOZ:Four Swords yesterday. I wrapped up the Temple of Darkness today and now I'm at the Desert of Doubt.

I'm now up to 36 so far. Also,I obtained at least five keys from rabbits for the mini-game room. I think I'm going to fight Bowser today.

Last night was the beginning of my last day w/Beat in The World Ends with You.

I finally got to my destination,Mr. H.'s cafe. Meanwhile,I took plenty of detours in the name of leveling up.

Obtained the rail map for Hyrule's snowy region late yesterday afternoon.

Made it through another day and defeated some more bosses in The World Ends with You.

Figured out that much loathed box puzzle and now I'm free to travel all over. Defeated the Reapers and got Beat's pin back. Now I'm on the fifth day so far. Got plenty of new badges to test and level up,too.

I'm have trouble figuring out this last box puzzle in the former. I did some leveling up w/Beat this afternoon. Thank Hera for video game walkthroughs.

As for  Spirit Tracks,I totaled the Stagnox,once in the Forest Temple and again at Jolene's place in Castle Town.

I'm about to face the first boss in Spirit Tracks.

Started day three w/Beat in World Ends with You last night. Also managed to get past the guards and make it to the Temple of Spirits in Spirit Tracks this afternoon.

I spent last night leveling up a bit in The World Ends with You. I also beat LOZ:Spirit Tracks and got the soldier complete w/clinking swords ending. I want to play the latter all over again. It was so much fun the first time.

I've also taken care of some side quests. Now it's time to visit Queen Himiko and,soon after,the underwater palace.

Nothing much to report except leveling up in The World Ends with You.

Found the microphone,leveled up and now it's on to the next objective.

Defeated the Shrooboid Brat this morning. Now I'm in the Gritzy Caves trying to rescue Kylie Koopa and Peach.

Made it inside the fort of the Gritzy Desert last night in Partners in Time.

Finished the sunken ship and retrieved the Lucky Mallet. Also obtained the Veil of Mist Brush Technique before jumping into the Emperor's body to purge him of his illness brought on by a demon.

is the key to solving the puzzle in the ship. Anyway,the electricity was out for most of the day so I played Mario and Luigi:Partners in Time on the DS 'til it ran out of juice.

Made my way to the capitol city this afternoon. Before I can explore the ship,I had to fetch Rao's (the priestess) prayer slips.

I just defeated Orochi and now I'm cutting loose at the Kamiki Festival.

Brought Out the PS2 Last Night

I started at the Beast's Castle (for the second time) in KH2 and am on my way to fighting Xaldin for the Enchanted Rose.

Fought alongside Meryl in Twin Snakes today Then I made my way to the basement floor.

Defeated Queen Zeal and Lavos on the Black Omen last night.

Made it to my next save point in CT.

Report of last night: I started on the Black Omen in Chrono Trigger (1000 AD). Made it to the first save point so far.

Made my way to the DARPA chief's holding cell,but he cashed in shortly after giving vital information to Solid Snake. The symptoms point to heart attack,but my suspicions (and minimal knowledge of MGS) point to FOXHOUND as the culprit. Now I have to rescue a guy named Baker.

Searched for beans and played mini=games in Bowser's Inside Story.

Mother Brain defeated in "Chrono Trigger"

The result is some new equipment and weapons for Robo. Also,I've breached the usurped Peach's Castle in Bowser's Inside Story. I have one more Blitty to get for Broque Monsieur. However,I'm more focused on finding all the beans as of now.

Unlocked Birdo in Mario Kart and earned a star in 50cc Mushroom Cup.

Defeated Mimi in SPM and now I have the third Pure Heart. A few new recipes have been cooked up w/Saffron,too.

I  completed Bowser's back surgery in BIS this morning. I also paid off the debt of Rubees to Mimi in SPM.

The trashure has been destroyed in Bowser's Inside Story.

I also found a new Pixl friend,Boomer. In addition,I improved my mini-game score in Bowser's Inside Story.

Won the Gold in the 50cc Lightning Cup and...

Diddy Kong is now playable. Tried the Special Cup w/Mario and,boy,did I suck ass! I did,however,get an "A" ranking w/King Boo in the 50cc Mushroom Cup.

Unlocked the Super Blooper in Mario Kart Wii not too long ago.

I made it inside the Bowser Castle vault today and fought an old enemy from Partners in Time: the Shroobs. Also dug up some more beans.

Golden Girl in "Mario Kart Wii"

I won the gold three times in the 50cc class tonight: Star Cup,Shell Cup and Banana Cup. King Boo has also been unlocked. I've yet to tackle the Special and the Leaf Cups.

Riding w/Rosalina in "Mario Kart"

Managed to win the gold in the 100cc Mushroom Cup w/Rosalina tonight.
