I got thru the kitchen,theater and terrace before I encountered werewolves (and obtained their card). Finally,when I had the combat cross in my hand,a necromancer snatched it from me as well as the Spirit of Benaldes half-way through my battle w/him. Unfortunately,the 3DS got low on juice as the boss battle progressed.
