Three Hours Spent on "Super Castlevania IV"

I spent all that time going thru level three and after so many mistakes and lost lives, I finally made it too the boss, a three-headed serpent. After getting the feel for the aforementioned level, I managed to hang onto the cross w/o losing a man which allowed me to dispatch the boss quickly.
